TYPE-C HPLC columns
HPLC Cogent TYPE-C™ Silica is populated with silicahydride functional groups instead of silanols.
This makes the particle slightly hydrophobic and will adsorb and desorb solvents much more easily than ordinary silica. Using patented technology, bonded phases such as C18, C8, Cholesterol, Phenyl and "Diamond Hydride" are attached to the silica hydride surface with direct silicon-carbon bonds.
